Job Title: Physician, GastroenterologyLocation: Downingtown, Main Line Health, PAJob Summary: Main Line Health is seeking skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologists to join our healthcare team. The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, providing high-quality patient care, and collaborating with other specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. We are growing our GI team to meet the needs of the communities around us. This is a full time, outpatient opportunity in Downingtown, PA.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders and diseases.
- Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies.
- Evaluate patients' health status by interpreting medical history and diagnostic test results.
- Consult with patients to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and answer any queries.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to manage patient care.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Qualifications:- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- Proficient in endoscopic procedures.
- Excellent patient management skills.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current and valid medical license.
