Edison, NJ is seeking an experienced
Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment for patients working through orthopedic injuries, surgery recovery, pain, mobility challenges, and other movement-related conditions.
The purpose of this role is straightforward: identify what is limiting a patient's function, create an appropriate rehabilitation plan, and help that patient make measurable progress toward returning to everyday activities.
You'll work a stable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM schedule, typically treating one to two patients each hour.
Salary: $90K-$100K annually based on experience, plus a full benefits package.
Primary Responsibilities- Conduct initial and follow-up physical therapy assessments
- Evaluate range of motion, strength, functional movement, balance, and mobility
- Build patient-specific treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Deliver appropriate orthopedic physical therapy interventions
- Teach therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs
- Track outcomes and make treatment modifications based on patient response
- Document evaluations, progress notes, treatments, and discharge information
- Educate patients on safe movement and strategies for maintaining progress
Requirements- Current New Jersey Physical Therapist (PT) license
- DPT degree or MSPT degree
- Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Working knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal treatment
