Duties Description Greater Binghamton Health Center is recruiting a Pharmacy Manager to oversee and manage their pharmacy program. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will provide clinical and administrative supervision to licensed pharmacists and pharmacy staff including:
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and medical staff regarding individuals' treatment goals and objectives
• Ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and practice standards
• Conducting audits and inspections of pharmaceutical inventories, storage, and records
• Preparing pharmacy budgets and monitoring expenditures
Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement - Statewide (NY HELPS) program as a Pharmacy Manager if they have 5 years of professional post-licensure experience as a Pharmacist, 1 year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity in a pharmacy related setting.
OR
Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they are reachable on the current Pharmacy Manager eligible list.
OR
Candidates from within State Service can be considered transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Posted hiring rate includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 29 ($123,754) and Geographic Pay Differential ($11,000); and the posted job rate is the sum of the statutory job rate ($151,566) and Geographic Pay Differential ($11,000).

1. If you fail to maintain your license and/or registration once you are appointed, action will be taken to remove you from the position.
2. If you are appointed and you lose the ability to bill through Medicare and Medicaid, you may be terminated from your employment.
