Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active California bar membership in good standing.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a caseload and resolving cases for high value.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of 30-40 cases acting as the lead attorney through all aspects of litigation from filing through trial.
• Developing case strategies and theories.
• Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Taking and defending depositions including plaintiff, defendant, experts, and more.
• Engaging in settlement negotiations.
• Acting as second chair in trials.
• Maintaining client communication to provide updates on case progress.
• Overseeing and directing Paralegal and other support staff.
