OverviewAs a Quality Engineer, the candidate will be reporting to the QA Director and is a full-time position. We are looking for innovative, proactive, and experienced quality engineer to support customer quality and drive supplier quality to consistently meet Rambus and customer requirements.
Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates customer requirements review with various teams to ensure Rambus has the capability and capacity to support the requirements.
- Acts as the main day to day contact for customers on issues and requirements and collaborates with the internal teams and suppliers for a timely issue or request resolution.
- Provides support and coordination of customer quality surveys and audits of Rambus or its suppliers.
- Manages and supports customer’s new product approval process and requirements.
- Direct interface and collaboration with suppliers to monitor and control supplier quality.
- Manages the flow down of special requirements to suppliers and ensures consistent compliance.
- Conducts supplier quality audits and periodic reviews, covering QMS and processes.
- Drives supplier quality improvements through supplier audits, supplier quality reporting and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- BS Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Min. 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering supporting customers and suppliers, in the semiconductor industry.
- Auditor certification (ISO 9001, Supplier Audit), a plus
- Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and use of analytical and problem-solving tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group internally and externally with customers and suppliers.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $141,000 to $212,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
