About the Role
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets

Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing required
You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, retail pharmacy setting is preferred

You have a strong passion for helping people and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes and can work flexible pharmacy hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
You are available to work within the following hours: Full Time Overnight Sundays - Thursdays (Four 10 hour shifts a week) Sunday 7:30pm to 5:30am or 8pm to 6am Monday to Wednesday 6pm to 4am or 7pm to 5am.
