About the RoleAs a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
- Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
- Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets

- Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing required
- You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, retail pharmacy setting is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- You have a strong passion for helping people and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes and can work flexible pharmacy hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
- You are available to work within the following hours:
Full Time Overnight Sundays - Thursdays (Four 10 hour shifts a week)
Sunday 7:30pm to 5:30am or 8pm to 6am
Monday to Wednesday 6pm to 4am or 7pm to 5am.
