Job Description: - Up to $10,000.00 Sign On Bonus
- Up to $3,000.00 Relocation Bonus
- Schedule: 40 hours per week Flexible options for schedule Monday- Friday Possibility of a half day Saturday
- Location: Sports Medicine and Rehab 3310 WATERMAN WAY, Tavares, 32778 With some travel to other clinics as needed
- Determines physical therapy diagnosis and establishes a plan of care, making recommendations for referral if treatment is needed outside the scope of physical therapist practice.
- Designs and implements treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards, recommended techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
- Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform functional mobility skills and evaluates muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
- Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
- Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director.
- Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
- Participates in practice changes as a result of performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
- Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. . Other duties as assigned
Education: • Doctorate [Preferred]
Field of Study: • in Physical Therapy
Work Experience: • Treating primarily the orthopedic population (Preferred)

Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.
Licenses and Certifications: • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR
• Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) [Required]
