Full Job Description
Deaconess Specialty Physicians is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Trauma Physician to join our team in Evansville, IN. This position offers a guaranteed salary of $850,000 for one year and a $65,000 sign-on bonus.

Primary Responsibilities:

Trauma Surgery
  • Provide dedicated orthopedic trauma coverage for the Central Market trauma program, including fulfillment of approximately 144 trauma service shifts annually in accordance with contractual expectations.
  • Establish and maintain an outpatient orthopedic trauma practice to support post-discharge follow-up, fracture care, and longitudinal management of patients treated through the trauma program.
  • Ensure timely inpatient management of orthopedic trauma patients through an appropriate combination of surgeon and advanced practice provider (APP) coverage. APP staffing, supervision, and deployment will be structured to support quality patient care, operational efficiency, and the long-term sustainability of the trauma program.
