The Work:

The Security Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the security team and delivering a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for an enterprise Oracle environment. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security posture across the entire application lifecycle, with emphasis on Oracle Application Security and achieving Authority-To-Operate (ATO).

You will work closely with functional, development, and architecture teams to ensure that security requirements are fully integrated into all solution components. This includes analyzing technical architecture documents, identifying vulnerabilities, recommending remediation approaches, and shaping the overarching security framework to meet organizational and compliance standards.

A major focus of the role involves overseeing the lifecycle of Application Security Roles (RBAC) for Oracle Fusion Cloud (OFC), ensuring adherence to leading security principles such as least privilege and separation of duties. Success in this role requires expertise in Oracle Fusion Applications Security, OCI Identity & Access Management, and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and management of Oracle Fusion Applications Security, including the design, deployment, and maintenance of role-based access controls (job roles, data roles, security policies, etc.)
• Apply applicable Risk Management Frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, OMB A-123) to ensure compliance and secure system design
• Develop, maintain, and monitor audit controls related to system access
• Stay current on system changes impacting security, including analyzing quarterly release updates and developing/leading test plans
• Provide expert guidance on security best practices, architectural decisions, and secure solution design patterns throughout the project lifecycle
• Continuously assess and enhance security measures to safeguard organizational systems, data, and assets
• Lead and mentor junior team members in Oracle Application Security, Risk Management Cloud, Compliance, and ATO activities

• Advanced experience with Oracle Fusion Applications Security (e.g., role design, data security policies, access architecture).

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional security initiatives within complex technical environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, secure architecture principles, and cloud governance.
• Experience analyzing technical architecture documentation and identifying security vulnerabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical security designs.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Prior experience achieving or supporting Authority-To-Operate (ATO) processes.
• Experience with security policy development, incident response, contingency planning, and audit readiness.
• Background in architecting secure cloud solutions and managing enterprise-scale security strategies.
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
