Full Job Description
As an Operations Finance Manager, Large Liquid & Resin, you will support the businesses by providing accurate and timely data and analysis related to product costs, manufacturing and distribution operations, and relevant variances. You will manage the operations finance activities for four US locations impacting numerous business units.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Operations Finance. You will be based at our General Office in Pittsburgh, PA and follow our hybrid work policy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team through coaching, goal setting, training and standardization of duties and tasks, collaboration and implementation of process improvements. You will supervise a group of six Operations Finance team members, including on-site Plant Controllers and Analysts based in the General Office.
  • Complete month end close activities related to manufacturing and distribution operations and preparation of internal management reporting.
  • Provide the business with profit analysis in communication of distribution costs, manufacturing results and variances, purchase price variance, period costs, estimates, and manufacturing strategy.
  • Manage completion of all inventory accounts including trend analysis, monthly account reconciliation approvals, physical inventory audits, and physical inventory reconciliation approvals.
  • Support the team in completion of the annual budget and quarterly product re-costs to support accurate inventory valuation and business decisions focused on product profitability.
  • Support ad hoc Operations and other function requests, such as capital projects and product costing analyses.
  • Ensure team members procedures are performed following internal control requirements.
  • Business partner to Operations and Business Unit Finance leadership.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 6+ years of finance and accounting experience
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Willingness to travel to manufacturing plant locations on a quarterly basis.
  • We prefer experience with large Enterprise Resource Planning systems, such as Oracle or SAP, and technical proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
