The OpportunityThe Creativity & Productivity (C&P) Operations team is seeking an Operations AI Developer to advance operational excellence using applied AI. This role combines operations, automation, and emerging AI capabilities. It focuses on identifying, designing, building, and deploying intelligent solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and decision-making across the organization.
This position is just beginning - you will help set the course, not only follow it. Your main focus will be building internal tools that simplify how the C&P Operations organization operates. You will be finding opportunities to boost efficiency in workflows and connecting with a wider executive network that is being developed. The solutions made here may grow beyond C&P and reach across Adobe, so the quality, maintainability, and care in your work matter greatly. Comfort with unclear situations and the skill to build frameworks from nothing are crucial.
You will be part of the Product Operations organization that reports into the Office of the President of C&P. You will work and collaborate closely with C&P Operations Leaders, engineering, and the Adobe Technical Systems (ATS) team. Your role is to convert real business needs into practical, scalable solutions. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where you can influence how AI is adopted and expanded not only within C&P but possibly across Adobe.
What You'll Do- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities to apply AI and other tooling across C&P Operations workflows and processes
- Design, develop, and roll out AI agents, copilots, and automation tools that boost operational efficiency - focused primarily on internal applications across C&P, with potential to extend Adobe-wide
- Collaborate across departments with operations, engineering, and the ATS team to transform business needs into scalable solutions
- Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on tools powered by artificial intelligence using modern frameworks (LLMs, agent architectures, automation platforms)
- Connect new solutions into existing tools and the emerging executive ecosystem to ensure cohesion across the broader ops organization
- Build with Adobe-wide scalability in mind - solutions should be maintainable, well-documented, and transferable beyond their initial context
- Establish and promote guidelines for responsible AI usage, governance, and operationalization
- Drive adoption by building intuitive, high-value solutions aligned to real user workflows
- Monitor performance, measure impact, and continuously improve deployed solutions in partnership with ops and analytics teams
What You Need to Succeed- 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals
- Background in AI/ML, computer science, or a related technical field
- Experience working with extensive language models and contemporary AI frameworks
- Demonstrated capability to develop AI-driven applications, agents, or automation solutions
- Skilled in Python or comparable languages, with experience handling APIs, MCPs, and integrations
- Solid software engineering practices: clean code, version control (Git), testing rigor, and maintainability
- Experience building and maintaining production systems beyond the prototype stage
- Comfort working with data - querying, transforming, and visualizing operational metrics
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deploying solutions in enterprise environments
- Understanding of security considerations when building AI-integrated tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and genuine curiosity for exploring new technologies
- Ability to move quickly from concept to prototype and iterate based on feedback
- Effective communicator who can bridge technical and business perspectives - including with senior leadership
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and drive outcomes with limited direction
Nice to Have- Exposure to operations, process design, or enterprise tooling ecosystems
- Experience designing or contributing to executive-facing tools or dashboards
- Experience building solutions intended to scale across a large, matrixed organization
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices in an enterprise context
- Interest in shaping AI strategy within a business function
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment alongside both engineering and non-engineering collaborators
ImpactThis role is crucial for transforming C&P Operations and may influence Adobe's large-scale approach. Within the operations group of the Office of the President of C&P, you will gain access to the priorities and strategy of one of Adobe's key business units. You will join as a founding member in defining AI's role in Adobe's operations. Your work will develop new tools that link to a growing executive network and extend past a single team. The impact of your work could shape how Adobe and its wider organization operate and expand.
