About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project / Program Manager (P3) who is a hands-on team player and self-motivated problem solver to join the ZT Sanmina team in our GTX office.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, stakeholder communication, risk management and successful delivery of projects that meet and exceed business objectives, timeline schedules and budget requirements.
The primary responsibility is to lead Customer Operations strategic initiatives that result in a commitment to operational excellence and a positive customer experience. This includes establishing and reinforcing project management standards, developing KPI’s and driving consistency across projects and programs supporting supply chain end to end execution.
What You Will Do
- Provide project management leadership and support to customer ops and supply chain cross functional strategic projects and initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and sustaining activities.
- Establish project plans and mitigations to enable the execution of time-sensitive strategic programs.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project health metrics.
- Work closely with internal teams and customers to set proper expectations on project schedules and deliverables.
- Lead in a highly cross-functional team environment involving manufacturing, procurement and NPI teams.
- Plan, schedule, and manage strategic projects ensuring project deliverables meet quality, compliance, and business requirements.
- Support change management activities and communicate project impacts effectively.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and blockers.
- Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and executive updates.
- Create solutions and value stream maps to solve complex business and technical problems.
- Analyze business processes and formulate recommendations for improvement.
- Lead multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management standards, tools, and best practices.
What You Bring
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields, plus 5 years of Project Management experience. Alternatively, Master’s degree with 3 years of experience is accepted.
- Project Management Skills – Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.
- Ability to plan and organize; establish projects requirements, plan execution and deliver results.
- Highly organized, proactive, data-driven, and capable of driving alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, product management, and executive stakeholders.
- Accountability and Communication: take ownership, share relevant information, and communicate at a level of detail appropriate for the audience.
- Teamwork: Works effectively across organizations to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Advanced analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience with ERP and PLM technologies.
- Experience in addressing complex or contentious issues, including but not limited to, variations or lack in process or locking in work scope definition.
- Experience with data visualization and leveraging AI capabilities.
- Experience with software skills in JIRA, or Visio, to support department metrics, mapping processes, and smart cross-functional communication or workflow.
