  • Approve reconciliation of cash and non-cash recovery activities for complex customers.
  • Serve as the main contact for servicing advance facilities inquiries.
  • Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

Job Description

The Advance Reporting and Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the reconciling and reporting of advance and recovery activity of the servicing portfolio to internal and external parties. Perform advance facility analysis, modeling, and assessments in support of corporate initiatives and make recommendations regarding servicing advance facilities actions. Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, investor guidelines, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay for this position is $110k - $140k plus Annual Bonus.

What you'll do:

  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
  • Develop and implement Policies and Procedures for compliance to adhere to current investor and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct a quality review on all department reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Obtain business reporting needs and design, build, and implement new reporting as needed.
  • Identify areas where processes and procedures can be streamlined, improved, and implemented.
  • Review account reconciliation prepares each month by the Analyst to ensure they are comprehensive and in compliance with investor and company guidelines.
  • Review and approve the reconciliation of cash and non-cash recovery activity of Principal and Interest ("PI"), Corporate, and Escrow advances, completed by staff members of the department.
  • Prepare and/or process advance facility funding and repay requests for the more complex customers as needed.
  • Act aa a point of contact for both internal and external requests regarding Servicing advance facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics and/or related field or equivalent work experience or an equivalent combination of degree and work experience.
  • 3+ years of Mortgage Servicing or lending finance experience required.
  • Previous Advance Facility experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of mortgage servicing software experience preferred.
  • Strong Access and/or SQL skills
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a staff preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of conventional and government reconciliation and reporting (private label, GNMA, FHLMC and FNMA).
