V3 is seeking a proven, entrepreneurial leader for our mature and growing Ohio Region. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who is ready to shape a regional office with diverse service lines and experienced experts, expand V3's presence in a growing market, build trusted client and community relationships, and develop a team that delivers meaningful work across Ohio.
This role is well suited for a leader who has successfully managed teams, clients, projects, or business operations and is ready for a broader regional leadership opportunity. The right person will be energized by building a region, developing people, creating accountability, and representing V3 in the Ohio business and civic community.
As a member of V3's firmwide leadership team, the Ohio Regional Leader will operate as both a regional business leader and contribute to firmwide decisions impacting the overall strategy and long-term success of the firm. You will set direction for the region, connect strategy to execution, grow client relationships, and partner across V3 to bring the full strength of our firm to our clients and communities.
What you'll get to do:

- Shape the regional growth strategy by identifying market opportunities, strengthening V3's position in Ohio, and turning ideas into focused action plans with measurable results.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders while supporting Business Development teams in pursuing strategic growth opportunities.
- Develop and mentor employees by strengthening team capability and supporting career development and growth.
- Create a strong regional culture rooted in V3's values, employee ownership, accountability, collaboration, and pride in the communities we serve.
- Connect the Ohio Region to the full strength of V3 by partnering across offices, disciplines, service lines, and market sectors to bring the right expertise to clients.
- Drive operational and financial performance through clear priorities, disciplined execution and clear annual goals tied to growth, project delivery, people development, financial performance, and client service.
- Champion safety, quality, client service, and long-term value creation as part of an employee-owned firm.
What will help you thrive in this role:
- Experience leading a regional office, business unit, operations group, or multidisciplinary team in the AEC or professional services industry in any of the following service lines: transportation, infrastructure, water resources, power and energy, land development, environmental and/or, planning.
- A strong network and/or demonstrated ability to build client relationships, develop opportunities, and help teams win meaningful work.
- The ability to connect people, strategy, clients, financial performance, and project delivery.
- Sound operational and financial judgment, including experience with business planning, revenue growth, utilization, profitability, cash flow, and performance metrics.
- A collaborative leadership style that brings people together across disciplines, offices, service lines, and market sectors.
- A genuine passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing leaders.
- The confidence to make decisions, the humility to listen, and the discipline to follow through.
