EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required
  • Education
    Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience
    5 years Of general nursing to include and
    1 year Of supervisory experience
  • Licenses and Certifications
    (RN) REGISTERED NURSE Licensure as Registered Nurse by Board of Nurse Examiners for State of Texas Upon Hire and
    (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Upon Hire

JOB DUTIES
  • Oversees and/or teaches others specialized knowledge and skills necessary to perform techniques and routines in area of specialty.
  • Provides operational management of daily patient care services.
  • Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care.
  • Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance.
  • Designs, executes, and delivers effective system of internal controls applicable and in compliance to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Facilitates teamwork through planned group processes, (i.e., workshops, seminars, and staff meetings).
  • Supervises nursing staff and/or other non-licensed medical or office support personnel.
  • May provide direct patient care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
