Step Into Your New Role

 

Kleinfelder is looking for a motivated North Carolina Program Lead to grow our Commercial and Industrial business. With increasing opportunities in the region and a variety of clients, the ideal candidate will join our high achieving, fast-paced team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team are valued attributes for this position. The work Kleinfelder executes is multi-disciplinary in nature, but experience in traditional industrial/commercial land development, renewables, utility infrastructure, and/or aggregate mining is especially relevant.

 

This is a hybrid office role and can be based in:

  • Charlotte, NC
  • Raleigh, NC
  • Greensboro, NC 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ability to target and generate new opportunities
  • Overseeing pursuits, designate the appropriate resources to projects, define client needs, address client concerns and suggest solutions to solve project challenges
  • Nurturing and growing client relationships
  • Managing project execution including proposal development, project organization, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and delivery quality
  • Leading technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and driving customer value

 

Education/Certification:

  • Preferred, Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or other technical degree
  • Preferred, Professional Engineer (PE)

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and/or land owners
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction as a consultant
  • Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of financial management of projects
  • 12+ years of related experience, including 6+ years of project management experience
