Full Job Description
We are. looking for a Network and Video Engineer (CISCO). The individual selected for this position will support the customer's organization that provides video engineering services on a global scale. The enterprise supports a carrier class WAN, complex and diverse campus. This position will provide systems/ network engineering support to the customer's mission partners. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Designs and plans network communications systems Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture Conducts testing of network designs Responsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options Plans implementation of enhancement and upgrades to the network Advises network users of hardware requirements, configurations and limitations Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateway etc Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
Required Skills:
A minimum of sixteen (16) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree Experience operating Cisco UC system components including: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) Cisco Unified Border Element (UBE) Cisco ExpressWay or Tandberg Video Communications Server (VCS) Cisco Meeting Server (MS) or Acano Media Gateways Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP) Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Cisco Jabber software client Experience operating VMWare ESXi hypervisor servers
Preferred Skills:
