As a Tier 3 Network Operations Engineer, you will be continuously challenged to solve complex tasks requiring extensive research, teamwork, and creativity. You will design and deliver solutions requiring a high level of coordination and technical ability. You will write high-level technical documents to articulate problems and solutions to an audience of varying technical backgrounds.
In this role, the T3 Network Operations Engineer will be responsible for:
- Network implementation and installation of technical projects within a site or locale.
- Facilitating engineering design data calls.
- Identify and recommend network changes that enhance operational efficiencies for network monitoring, management, and operations.
- Troubleshooting network failures and accessibility issues.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Develop network-related implementation and deployment documentation.
- Develop network designs that meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
- Lead research and testing of new or modified hardware or software products to determine performance and interoperability.
- Design and implement new solutions.
- Will require travel to other sites for network operations and administration activities.
- May require unpacking, moving network components of average weight and volume.
Requirements
You'll Bring These Qualifications:- IAT II
- CCNA
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly prior to starting
Minimum Education & Experience (One of the following):- High School/GED + 9 Yrs,
- Associates + 7 Yrs
- Bachelors +5 Yrs
- Masters + 3 Yrs
- PhD +1 Yrs
