Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Technical School/Military training with relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical power systems, relay calibration, or testing.
• Knowledge of industry standards like the National Electrical Code, OSHA, and NFPA.
• Certification from NETA (National Electrical Testing Association) is required.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite and computer-controlled test equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform relay calibration using instrumentation.
• Execute simple power system studies, including short circuit analysis and protective device coordination.
• Create comprehensive project reports and manage job billing efficiently.
• Lead equipment labeling projects in line with industry standards and company procedures.
• Engage in business development initiatives to expand client base and services offered.
• Prepare detailed job proposals, including estimates for man-hours, expenses, and scope development.
