Mission and Capability Portfolio AnalystThe RoleAnalyze mission threads, operational effects, capability portfolios, and gaps to support integration and acquisition decisions.
What You Will Do- Develop structured analysis linking mission objectives and operational effects to systems, functions, data, interfaces, constraints, and decisions.
- Conduct capability-gap, dependency, and portfolio analyses that identify actionable integration or acquisition choices.
- Synthesize technical and operational evidence into concise decision products for senior stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional teams addressing mission, capability, integration, and transition problems.
Required Qualifications- 7+ years of relevant mission decomposition, mission-thread, operational-effects, capability-analysis, gap-analysis, or portfolio-review experience.
- Demonstrated ability to connect analysis to real funding, acquisition, implementation, integration, or transition decisions.
- Strong structured analytical, written, and stakeholder-communication skills.
- United States citizenship is required.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, decision-ready technical products.
