Full Job Description
HarmonyTech Inc. is seeking a "Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure" to support a federal government modernization program. The successful candidate will design, develop, support and modernize mission critical Enterprise SharePoint environment.

Position is remote. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Position Summary

The Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineer owns the platform underneath everything the program delivers: the Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online tenant, the identity and access model, the Azure data services behind the Power BI portfolio, and the migration of applications and databases into the cloud. This role is accountable for the environment being correct, secure, performant and reversible - every change deployable inside an approved maintenance window and every change backed by a plan that can undo it. It is a hands-on engineering role, not an oversight role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Eight or more years in enterprise IT infrastructure or cloud engineering, including five or more years with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure and three or more years administering SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, or both.
  • SharePoint Online and SharePoint admin center; site collection and tenant administration; hybrid configuration; SharePoint Server 2016/2019/Subscription Edition administration.
  • Microsoft Entra ID: identity, groups, roles, conditional access, app registrations, and PIV/CAC-based authentication patterns.
  • PowerShell and PnP PowerShell scripting to a production-automation standard; familiarity with Microsoft Graph.
  • Azure: Azure SQL, Data Factory or Synapse, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor; virtual networking and access control fundamentals.
  • Power BI service and Power Platform administration: capacity, workspaces, gateways, deployment pipelines, refresh operations.
  • Migration tooling: SharePoint Migration Tool, Migration Manager, PnP PowerShell, and an enterprise product such as ShareGate or AvePoint.
  • Monitoring, performance analysis and capacity planning for collaboration and data platforms.
Required Certifications
  • At least one current Microsoft role-based expert certification: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) (Preferred) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC or GCC High) tenant.
  • Federal civilian agency experience, particularly supporting an OCIO or enterprise collaboration program.
  • Working knowledge of FISMA and NIST SP 800-53 control implementation, ATO packages and POA&M remediation
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or a closely related field.
