Responsibilities

  • Perform essential duties in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology/Immunology based on assigned shift.
  • Conduct Molecular Pathology testing and Flow Cytometry as required.
  • Manage Point of Care testing in relevant clinical settings.
  • Process and result reference lab tests efficiently in a customer service role.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in laboratory operations.

Full Job Description
Short DescriptionPerforms essential duties related to one or more of the clinical subspecialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology/Immunology based on shift. Specific skills required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry and Point of Care job postings. For Customer Service posting, performs essential duties related to reference lab test processing and resulting. Experience Required

One year clinical laboratory experience preferred (Student experience acceptable.)

Education RequirementsBACHELORS License/Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program preferred.

Special Requirements

Alternatively, possesses qualifications for high complexity testing as evaluated against Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments ’88 (Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, Part 493.1489)

 

ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry preferred.
