Job Overview:

Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Field Engineer to join our Primoris Energy Services - Nexus team. This role will involve providing critical mechanical engineering support and oversight for various energy infrastructure projects, ensuring project execution aligns with design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.

Job Responsibilities**

* Perform on-site mechanical engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving during project execution.
* Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
* Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with design and industry standards.
* Conduct field inspections, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.
* Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Prepare detailed field reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
* Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures for mechanical systems.
* Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
* Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide technical input.
* Support the resolution of mechanical design and construction conflicts.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within the energy services or construction industry.
* Proven experience in field-based roles, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and their application in energy infrastructure.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in challenging field environments.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with all project stakeholders.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
* Willingness to travel extensively to various project sites as required.
* Valid driver's license and good driving record.
