Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD and FEA software packages.
• 1+ years of professional experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or consumer hardware production (preferred).
• Knowledge of pumps, valves or other mechanical components (preferred).
• Knowledge of automation programming and process development (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency (preferred).
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own consumer hardware from design through production and launch.
• Develop design criteria and drive system-level optimization.
• Test and iterate on products for reliability and performance.
• Design production lines incorporating automation and process development.
• Refine production systems for efficiency and reliability.
• Establish an efficient product lifecycle balancing cost, complexity, and quality.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement in-house production lines.
