Full Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer will research, plan, and design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems. Lead and coordinate activities related to the fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of customized products and equipment. Ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, manufacturability objectives, and cost targets.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Independently design and document large customized lead-lined enclosures, instrumentation systems, and electromechanical assemblies with minimal supervision using SolidWorks. Develop production-ready 3D models, 2D drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and supporting engineering documentation.
  • Evaluate customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and technical data to develop innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions. Drive continuous improvement through design optimization, material selection, and process enhancements.
