Full Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer II, you'll manage projects from customer needs through design, testing, and installation. You'll research, design, develop, and test complex equipment and machinery while supporting medium-scale subsystem projects. You'll also collaborate with engineering, service, and sourcing teams to optimize equipment performance and utilization.

What You'll Do:
  • End-to-end ownership: Take projects from the analysis of the client's needs through project specification, concept, design, test and installation.
  • Ownership with mentorship: Responsible for medium sub-system design projects, with direct guidance and mentorship from the Engineering Manager.
  • Documentation that matters: Develop the appropriate documentation (BOMs, ECNs, and REAs) to support engineering in the development, design or modification of products as required.
  • Budget and schedule ownership: Develop and monitor the project budget and schedule utilizing design skills and project management expertise.
  • See your work in the field: Travel as required to evaluate projects, install and troubleshoot engineering modifications, and offer assistance to other departments (up to 10%).
  • Team leadership: Manage medium design projects with support of Mechanical Engineers I and II, and shop personnel.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience
  • 3-7 years of machine design experience
  • Solid working knowledge / experience with manufacturing practices, assembly procedures, and machine and mechanical mechanism design
  • Proficiency in design using AutoCAD, Inventor, or another 3D software.
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions, prioritize projects, and complete critical items in a timely fashion.

Pay Range: The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$92,000 - $114,000 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, based on company and/or individual performance.
