We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of complex federal facilities projects. RequirementsQualifications and Skills- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience designing and reviewing mechanical building systems for complex facilities.
- Proficiency with Revit and other commonly used CADD software.
- Ability to interpret building codes, technical standards, drawings, and specifications.
- Willingness to travel 10-20%, including occasional OCONUS travel.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP).
- Autodesk Certified Professional.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Responsibilities & Duties- Develop and review mechanical designs, planning documents, and technical reports for federal facilities projects.
- Design mechanical building systems and coordinate with architectural, structural, civil, and electrical disciplines.
- Conduct code compliance reviews, technical evaluations, and peer reviews of engineering deliverables.
- Support projects through design, bidding, and construction while ensuring compliance with technical standards.
- Develop project schedules, lifecycle cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
- Lead engineering tasks, prepare scopes of work, and provide technical and contract administration support.
