Standard Job DescriptionTHE WORKAs a member of our Mechanical Engineering team, you will:
• Perform Mechanical Engineering development and design functions in support of flight training devices
• Develop Mechanical Designs, including Models, Drawings, Parts Selection, and supporting hardware requirement specifications, trade studies, technical evaluations, and logistics support
• Drive and design hardware development from concept to on-aircraft testing and verification.
• Provide post-delivery technical assistance to customers and support internal reviews of solutions.
• Manage technical aspects of design and manufacturing with suppliers.
• Perform Static and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis
• Support production environment in researching obsolescence to meet production requirements
This position will require the selected candidate to have the ability to obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or in a related discipline
• Understanding of mechanical design philosophy and design process flow
• Experience in mechanical design projects
• Experience in PTC Creo, or similar tool suites
Desired Skills• Demonstrated performance & proficiency in elements of Mechanical/Hardware design
• Experience in developing design concepts, evaluating, and design reviews
• Stress analysis
• Qualification Testing
• Equipment design
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
