Job DescriptionWhat you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:- Lead complex projects to troubleshoot and solve errors/problems on production equipment.
- Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confer with manufacturing engineers and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
- Validate the development of product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.
- Consult the engineering team about potential suppliers for production equipment, tooling and fixturing and contributes to the final technical choice.
- Evaluate and assist in the evolution of the equipment and perform acceptance evaluation according to specification.
- Validate production times, staffing requirements and related costs of production equipment to provide information for management decisions.
- Oversee projects for existing production and new programs using APQP and Lean principles to meet timing and budget as well as performance.
Your profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Engineering.
- Experience with customer communication systems.
- Experience with engineering change systems.
- Knowledge of company products and services acquired through experience and training.
- Understanding of engineering techniques, principles, and procedures of their particular field to the completion of difficult assignments.
