Full Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for design feasibility of new/existing products, product costing, and make buy options. Product line-owner in the analysis and recommendation of product capabilities and fulfillment solutions; product specifications, testing, implementation, and aftermarket support; and ensures successful manufacturability of Deluxe products through Fulfillment. Projects are typically of limited scope and complexity. • Designs, analyzes, develops, writes product specifications, tests, implements and provides aftermarket support for new/existing products in the areas of product line management, channel partner management, base forms, and packaging. • Responsible for semi-finished goods set up of the product, bill of material, routes, and costing through manufacturing. • Serves as a technical interface to product marketing/management, business operations, and fulfillment for product needs regarding introduction, revision, manufacturability, and product cost. Basic Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelors in Engineering and 3 years experience or HS/GED and 7 years experience in manufacturing engineering. Knowledge of lean methodology. Project planning experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Preferred Qualifications: Experience: Solid Project Management and Organizational Skills. Working knowledge of SAP (or similar operating/manufacturing systems). Financial analysis skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management skills. Additional Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Compensation The compensation range for this position is $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
