Full Job Description
Waldron Private Wealth (Waldron) is looking for a Managing Director - Wealth Advisory to lead the performance, development, and service delivery of Wealth Advisors and Partners in Wealth Advisory teams. This role collaborates across firm leadership to promote growth of the firm while ensuring a high-quality, consistent client experience.

In this role you will:
  1. Lead the development and performance of Wealth Advisors and Partners, ensuring alignment with firm standards, expectations, and growth objectives.
  2. Drive consistency of client experience and advisory delivery across Wealth Advisory teams.
  3. Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to Wealth Advisors and Partners to strengthen business development efforts, client relationship management, communication, and meeting leadership skills.
  4. Reinforce firmwide client service standards, advisory processes, and engagement expectations across advisors.
  5. Lead and support on-the-job training (OJT) for Wealth Advisors by coordinating exposure to client meetings, business development activities, and strategic discussions.
  6. Obtain and provide feedback on activities, presentations, and advisor performance to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Support the development of Wealth Advisors' and Partners' business development capabilities, including sourcing, networking, and relationship-building strategies.
  8. Serve as a senior resource to Wealth Advisors for client, prospect and COI related activities.
  9. Partner with Director of Wealth Advisory to align talent development and wealth advisory team strategy.
  10. Provide regular feedback to the Chief Advisory Officer regarding advisor performance, development needs, and readiness for advancement.
  11. Serve as a point of escalation for advisor-level client matters, as appropriate.
  12. Support internal training sessions, workshops, and development programs for advisors.
  13. Contribute to firmwide initiatives focused on advisor development, client experience, and service model improvements.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required.
  • CFP®, CFA®, JD, or other relevant professional designation required. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of professional designation.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Wealth Advisory required. Twelve (12) years preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a team of wealth advisors required. Specific experience in the RIA and/or Private Bank channel advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing advisors or team members.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business development activities and coaching required.
  • Investment Adviser Representative registration eligibility required within 3 months of start date (e.g. CFP, ChFC, PFS, CFA, CIC, Series 65, or Series 66).
