Managing Director, Data & AI Solutions Leader for AI Industry Solutions. This senior leadership role is responsible for defining and driving North America's AI-native industry solutions strategy, accelerating innovation, influencing market perception, and enabling industry-focused go-to-market execution. The Managing Director will lead the development, positioning, and commercialization of differentiated AI solutions, platforms, accelerators, and minimum viable products (MVPs) that help clients transform their businesses through AI. Working closely with industry leadership, Data & AI practices, strategic alliances, sales, marketing, and delivery teams, this executive will establish solution priorities, shape investment decisions, and drive market adoption across multiple industries. As a senior external representative of NTT DATA, the Managing Director will engage directly with C-suite executives, analysts, advisors, technology partners, and industry influencers to articulate NTT DATA's vision for AI-powered business transformation and strengthen the firm's leadership position in the market.
Key Responsibilities AI Industry Strategy & Solution Innovation- Define and lead North America's AI-native industry solutions strategy, aligning investments and priorities with NTT DATA's growth objectives and industry agendas.
- Establish and maintain a portfolio of industry-specific AI offerings, accelerators, demos, and MVPs that drive measurable business outcomes and scalable market differentiation.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, industry disruption trends, competitive threats, and client needs to inform solution development and innovation priorities.
- Collaborate with industry, consulting, engineering, cloud, data, and AI leaders to design differentiated solutions that address strategic client challenges.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for industry AI solutions and oversee execution from concept through commercialization.
- Serve as the executive sponsor for solution innovation initiatives and AI-enabled industry transformation programs.
Go-to-Market Leadership & Revenue Enablement- Partner with Industry Leaders, Client Growth Leaders, Sales Leadership, and Alliance teams to accelerate pipeline development and market adoption of AI offerings.
- Support strategic pursuits, executive client engagements, and large-deal opportunities through solution positioning, demonstrations, and executive presentations.
- Guide the development of solution messaging, value propositions, business cases, and client-facing collateral.
- Enable sales and account teams by creating and maintaining a repository of AI assets, use cases, demos, and industry-specific solution materials.
- Contribute to revenue growth by influencing strategic opportunities and supporting priority pursuits across North American industries.
Executive Analyst, Advisor & Ecosystem Engagement- Serve as a senior spokesperson and market representative for NTT DATA's AI and industry transformation strategy.
- Lead executive engagements with analyst and advisory firms including Gartner, Everest Group, ISG, IDC, HFS Research, and other influential market stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver strategic analyst briefings, response content, market positioning materials, and thought leadership narratives.
- Build trusted relationships with analysts, advisors, technology partners, and ecosystem organizations to enhance NTT DATA's market visibility and industry recognition.
- Influence industry perceptions and strengthen NTT DATA's positioning in analyst evaluations, market reports, and industry rankings.
Industry Thought Leadership- Represent NTT DATA at industry conferences, executive forums, webinars, client events, and partner engagements.
- Publish and contribute to thought leadership focused on AI transformation, industry modernization, intelligent operations, and emerging technologies.
- Monitor advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, cloud, and data platforms to identify opportunities for new offerings and market differentiation.
- Shape NTT DATA's point of view on future industry trends and AI-driven business transformation.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to communicate the company's AI strategy and innovation agenda to internal and external audiences.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management- Influence senior executives across industry, sales, consulting, and technology organizations to align around strategic priorities and solution investments.
- Lead cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
- Mentor and develop solution leaders, architects, strategists, and industry specialists.
- Drive accountability for solution portfolio performance, market impact, and business outcomes.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in consulting, digital transformation, industry strategy, product management, AI solutions, or technology leadership roles.
- 8+ years of leadership experience driving complex, enterprise-wide initiatives in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated success defining, launching, and scaling technology-enabled or AI-driven solutions in the marketplace.
- Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, data and analytics, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.
- Proven experience engaging directly with C-suite executives, strategic clients, analysts, and industry influencers.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, storytelling, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to translate emerging technologies into compelling business value, market opportunities, and growth strategies.
- Experience supporting large strategic pursuits and revenue-generating go-to-market initiatives.
Preferred- Master's degree or MBA in Business, Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience supporting analyst relations programs and strategic advisor engagements.
- Experience leading industry-focused solution portfolios across Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Telecommunications, or Public Sector.
- Strong understanding of AI platforms, hyperscaler ecosystems, cloud providers, and emerging technology partnerships.
- Proven track record of thought leadership through publications, conference speaking engagements, or industry recognition.
