What you will do- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex Workday HCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise technology standards.
- Serve as the primary functional and technical architect for Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Recruiting, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking, and related modules.
- Develop and maintain the Workday roadmap, driving continuous enhancement, optimization, and adoption across the platform.
- Architect end-to-end integrations between Workday and internal/external systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and operational efficiency.
- Lead business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities; work with the appropriate KPMG resources from other service lines/industries in collaboration with the Partner.
- Plan and manage engagements under the leadership of the Partner
- Lead client engagements and teams to successful outcomes with a focus on supporting your team, client needs and generating value
- Build long-term business relationships with senior client personnel and executives through engagements and networking in professional organizations.
- Work with senior KPMG leaders to understand, enhance and integrate service offerings across the service line.
What you bring to the role- Minimum of five years of experience with Workday implementation and upgrade experience with strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing projects
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
- Experience with Workday HCM advisory engagements for a variety of clients, with responsibilities including process design, package implementation lifecycle support and project reviews
- Experience leading and supporting business development activities such as deal qualification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities;
- Experience working in a client facing role with both technical and functional stakeholders, strong relationship management skills and a passion for client satisfaction and delivery excellence.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to communicate with client stakeholders and leadership.
- Fluency in both English and French is considered an asset.
- Workday HCM certification is a definite asset (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently hold the aforementioned certification will be required to secure one within three months from the commencement of employment)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
- Travel may be up to 30%.
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $103,000 to $135,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
