What is the Opportunity?The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of transmission, substation, and linear infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and closeout. Working closely with senior project leaders, this role coordinates project activities, manages contractors and consultants, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
This position is ideal for a project leader looking to build experience managing increasingly complex capital projects and progress toward a senior leadership role.
What You'll Do Here:- Play a key role in coordinating and managing project activities across engineering, procurement, construction, permitting, and commissioning.
- Actively support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and performance reporting.
- Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between technical teams, operations, regulators, municipalities, landowners, and Indigenous communities.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and support the implementation of mitigation plans to maintain project objectives.
- Contribute to procurement processes, contract administration, change management, and project closeout activities.
What You Bring to the Team:- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Up to 5 years of project management or project coordination experience in utilities, transmission, substations, construction, or related infrastructure projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
- Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required.
Reason for Vacancy: New
The expected pay range for this role is $95,000 - $135,000 per year.
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
