Full Job Description
This role is subject to a flexible hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of 2 pre-determined days per week in our mid-town office.

SUMMARY

The Manager, Sponsorships is responsible for developing, managing, and executing CRF's sponsorship strategy across all meetings. This role designs and oversees sponsorship offerings that maximize partner engagement and drive revenue growth in alignment with organizational goals. The Manager oversees the full sponsorship lifecycle-from strategic planning and sales support through fulfillment and post event evaluation-ensuring all commitments are delivered accurately and on time. The Manager works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support smooth event operations and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits.

The Manager, Sponsorships will also be cross trained in exhibits and serve as backup support to the Exhibits team as needed to maintain consistency across CRF's industry engagement programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sponsorship Execution and Development
  • Own overall sponsorship strategy and execution across all CRF meetings.
  • Design and manage sponsorship packages, inventory, suggested pricing models, and fulfillment frameworks to achieve revenue and engagement goals.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Industry Relations to create integrated opportunities that align with partner objectives.
  • Identify new concepts and value-add sponsorship offerings that expand inventory and drive innovation.
  • Ensure sponsorship programs align with CRF's overall meeting strategy, education mission, and industry engagement approach.

Sponsor and Client Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors regarding benefits, timelines, logistics, and deliverables.
  • Manage sponsor relationships from contracting through post-event follow-up, maintaining alignment with internal teams and deadlines.
  • Manage sponsor communications, logistics, and operational planning to ensure clear information flow and compliance with event guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Exhibits, and Logistics to ensure sponsor visibility and activation quality.
  • Track fulfillment progress and address questions or issues proactively to ensure satisfaction.

Event Planning and On-Site Execution
  • Oversee sponsor activation logistics across all CRF events.
  • Partner with Logistics and Exhibits to implement sponsorship placements, branding, and activations on site.
  • Ensure sponsor areas and activations enhance the holistic CRF meeting experience.
  • Monitor installation, build-out and on-site delivery for sponsor placements, displays, and recognition.
  • Serve as backup support to the Exhibits Manager for exhibitor coordination and related operational activities as needed.
  • Support additional organizational programs such as satellite symposia, training workshops, affiliate meetings, and grant-related initiatives, ensuring consistent communication and execution of sponsor deliverables.
  • Represent CRF in a professional manner during events, providing high-quality service to attendees, faculty, and industry partners.

Marketing and Communication
  • Partner with Marketing to develop sponsor prospectuses, promotional materials, and communication schedules.
  • Communicate key participation details, deadlines, and deliverable requirements to sponsors.
  • Ensure consistent sponsor recognition across CRF channels.
  • Analyze sponsorship data and provide insights and metrics on performance for each event.

Administration and Reporting
  • Manage sponsorship contracts, billing, and recordkeeping in CRM and project systems.
  • Track sponsorship inventory, fulfillment, and delivery status across all programs.
  • Maintain and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sponsorship planning, sale, and fulfillment.
  • Prepare post-event analytics and recommendations for continuous improvement and growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Translate business development and industry relations commitments into actionable deliverables and activations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general service contractors, production vendors, and other partners to ensure operational success.
  • Work with Marketing to ensure proper branding, recognition, and visibility for sponsors across all CRF assets.

Project and Account Management
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and budgets related to sponsorships.
  • Ensure all internal and external presentations are updated on a regular basis and input is accurate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM and event management systems.
  • Prepare post-event reports and analytics on client engagement and fulfillment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with partners and internal/external teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Travel required for meetings and event support.

COMPENSATION

The hiring range for this position is $82,000 - $90,000 per year. The annual salary that will ultimately be offered to the successful candidate will depend on job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience.
