Job Description

The Sourcing Manager leads strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned spend categories and develops sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, service, risk, and supplier performance. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and leads negotiations, supplier selection, and contract management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global category and sourcing strategies for technology and other spend areas.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing events including supplier identification, RFx development, evaluation, negotiation, and award with strong project management execution.
  • Deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation targets globally.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance improvement initiatives globally.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract development efforts.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct market assessments and identify emerging supplier opportunities.
  • Evaluate supplier risk and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements globally.
  • Track sourcing performance metrics and report results to leadership.
  • Develop category specific reporting to inform stakeholders on progress to shared goals, upcoming actions required and data to support informed business decisions.
