Logistics Manager with previous manufacturing, industrial, broad based logistics, shipping, receiving experience needed on-site in Kenosha, WI.
Job Duties
- Plan, direct and coordinate the transportation and logistics of materials and products
- Manage all inbound and outbound internal material movement
- Responsibility for day-to-day operations of both receiving and shipping
- Manages relationships with freight carriers, manage PP and PPA freight
- Coordinates daily shipping activities
- Manages disputes between freight carriers and end users
- Directly supervises team of Shipping, Receiving, Material Handlers
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors' degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant field a plus.
- 6+ years of relevant experience and academic preparation or 10+ years of experience in Logistics or related field in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- 2+ years of functional leadership experience as a supervisor.
- 5-7+ years intermediate level ERP (JDE) experience preferred.
- Experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Proficient in ERP systems
