Full Job Description
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is seeking a Manager, Global Sales, Southeast & LATAM to join our Commercial - Global Sales team.

This is a remote position based in the Miami metropolitan area, operating as part of the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office in New York and the wider Global Sales team.

The Manager, Global Sales, Southeast & LATAM is responsible for managing travel industry relationships within the designated market for Mandarin Oriental, serving as the primary point of contact for managed accounts. The role involves creating and executing strategic account plans, developing strong client relationships, driving revenue and market share growth, and maximizing transient and group business opportunities across the hotel portfolio through travel agency partners.

The position covers the Southeast United States and Spanish-speaking Latin American markets and reports to the Director, Travel Industry, The Americas. This is a remote-based role requiring regular travel throughout the assigned territory. The successful candidate must reside in the Miami metropolitan area.

As Manager, Global Sales, Southeast & LATAM, you will be responsible for:
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts through planned sales activities in accordance with overall Global Sales strategies.
  • Implement account plans to maximize revenue generation from both established and target accounts while supporting the diversification of Mandarin Oriental's client base.
  • Achieve or exceed agreed revenue and room-night goals across all assigned accounts.
  • Generate revenue from travel advisors and business opportunities throughout the assigned geographical territories.
  • Promote the Fan Club preferred agency partner programme through advisor enrolment, training, and engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travel agency partnerships within the assigned region, managing client engagement and initiatives that enhance business opportunities for Mandarin Oriental hotels.
  • Collaborate closely with in-region representation agency partners to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, facilitate effective communication, and support the successful execution of commercial initiatives through regular reporting and review of action plans.
  • Lead annual Global Sales Calendar activities across the region, including roadshows, sales trips, workshops, client events and trade shows.
  • Host in-person client meetings, site inspections and familiarisation trips.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of accounts, contacts and activities within Salesforce.
  • Produce and analyse reports relating to assigned accounts, markets, sales activities and business performance.
  • Participate in internal meetings, including weekly sales meetings, monthly segment updates and regular one-to-one discussions.
  • Secure, analyse and evaluate economic, competitive and market information relevant to assigned territories.
  • Provide assistance and support to wider sales operations and commercial initiatives as business needs arise.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour while representing Mandarin Oriental.
  • Perform additional duties as required based on business needs.
  • Comply with Mandarin Oriental's standard policies, programmes and approved corporate travel requirements.


As Manager, Global Sales, Southeast & LATAM, we expect from you:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of four years of sales experience within luxury hotel sales and/or a global sales environment.
  • Established travel industry relationships within the Southeast US and/or Spanish-speaking Latin American markets.
  • Proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue, room-night and business growth targets.
  • Strong client management, relationship-building, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic account plans that generate measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing changing workloads, timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build constructive and effective relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.
  • A diplomatic and tactful communication style when engaging with colleagues, clients, travel advisors and business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage approved budgets, allocate resources effectively and control expenses in accordance with corporate travel policies.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct business professionally in both languages.
  • Portuguese language proficiency is considered an advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory and to other locations as required.
  • Must reside within the Miami metropolitan area.
