Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or Organizational Leadership required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Strong conflict management and resolution skills needed.
• Ability to mentor and train others in purchasing practices.
• Familiarity with software applications such as Microsoft Office, ERP systems, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, and COUPA required.
• Reading blueprints and understanding engineering documents is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of contract laws is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage key supplier partnerships to reduce costs and enhance product performance.
• Negotiate and document long-term supply and price agreements with key suppliers.
• Identify and develop new suppliers for key commodities to ensure continuous material flow.
• Implement long-term category strategies that add significant value.
• Analyze market trends to communicate cost change impacts and support risk mitigation.
• Support new product development by sourcing materials and processes that enhance technology.
• Monitor supplier performance and assess outcomes through established metrics.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve cost, performance, and quality targets.
