Full Job Description
In the role of Manager, Enterprise Applications, working on-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin, you will be part of the Results Delivery Office team. The Manager, Enterprise Applications, leads strategic business capability management and IT investment prioritization, guiding a high-performing team within the Finance functional area. As the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders, this role ensures technology initiatives align with organizational goals, oversees requirements gathering, and manages IT project evaluation and execution. The manager also acts as Capability Manager, integrating solutions across enterprise applications, championing digital transformation, and driving improvements in user satisfaction, project delivery, and business process efficiency. Major Responsibilities • Lead Agile Practices: Guide teams in using Agile methods like Scrum and Kanban. Organize planning events, help teams focus on their goals, and improve how work gets done by removing obstacles. • Build Strong Teams: Encourage teamwork and open communication. Help team members develop leadership skills and ensure everyone is working together effectively. • Manage IT Projects and Programs: Oversee IT projects from start to finish, track progress and budgets, and make sure projects support the company's goals. Work with outside partners as needed. • Engage Stakeholders: Act as the main contact between IT and business teams. Gather requirements, share updates, and make sure everyone's needs are addressed. Lead meetings to report on project progress. • Manage Product Backlogs and Applications: Prioritize and update lists of work for software products. Oversee updates and improvements to company applications to make sure they deliver value. • Align IT with Business Goals: Make sure IT plans support business objectives. Work with business groups to understand their needs and suggest solutions that improve processes. • Develop Business Cases and Reports: Work with the IT Results Delivery Office to prepare business cases for new projects and communicate progress to stakeholders. • Implement and Integrate Solutions: Coordinate with teams and vendors to put new IT solutions in place and ensure different systems work well together. • Promote Innovation and Update Legacy Systems: Look for new ways to solve business problems with technology and help replace outdated systems with more modern solutions. • Manage and Develop Teams: Hire, coach, and support staff. Set expectations, provide feedback, and build teams focused on improvement and delivering results. Minimum Job Requirements Education • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience Work Experience • 5 years of related experience determining and delivering against business requirements • 5 years of medium to large-scale program management experience • 2 years of progressive leadership experience Preferred Job Requirements Education • Master's Degree Certification / License • PMP certification Work Experience • Experience managing a globally dispersed team • Project and Program Management Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
