About the RoleAs the Manager, Direct Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in driving our contract manufacturing and packaging business by ensuring a reliable, cost-effective, and innovative formulas and packaging supply chain. You will develop and execute strategies to source and manage finished goods and packaging materials that meet our high standards for quality, sustainability, and performance.
Primary Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and manage supplier performance to ensure continuous supply and cost-efficiency.
- Cost Optimization & Financial Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and process improvements. Track and report on monthly Purchase Price Variance, trends, and annual budgeting.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including material availability, quality fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
- Sustainability: Drive sustainability initiatives within the packaging supply chain, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting eco-friendly practices.
- Innovation: Collaborate with research and development teams to identify and source innovative packaging materials and technologies that enhance product performance and appeal.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in direct procurement, preferably within the cosmetics industry.
- Proven track record in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Deep understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
The pay range for this position is $98,000-130,500. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
