Manager of Data Engineering

Location: Toronto/GTA

Position Overview: We are seeking an exceptional Manager of Data Engineering to lead our talented team of data engineers in delivering innovative data solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in cloud data technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable data solutions while providing leadership and guidance to our team of data engineers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the successful delivery of client projects.
  • Collaborate closely with our consulting and sales teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored data solutions that address their specific needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Implement best practices for data management, including data governance, security, and compliance, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of client data.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud data technologies, staying abreast of the latest advancements and industry trends to drive innovation in our solutions.
