Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of import regulations related to classification, valuation, country of origin, and free trade for apparel and footwear.
• Certified Customs Specialist or Licensed Customs Broker required.
• Solid mathematical skills necessary for duty calculations.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and proactive engagement.
• Experience with Gerber/Unique Product Lifecycle Management and Oracle is advantageous.
• Independent and collaborative worker capable of meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance with import regulations to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Pre-classify goods for correct declarations and duty payments; manage HS library with customs broker.
• Collaborate on the annual renewal of import bonds with the customs broker.
• Work with Sourcing on identifying suppliers for potential duty savings and coordinate audits.
• Ensure compliance with Free Trade eligibility and manage associated expiration dates.
• Conduct annual Supply Chain Security Risk Assessment under C-TPAT.
• Maintain and update the Import Compliance manual and compliance testing logs.
