This role is best suited for people who are passionate about helping small businesses grow, have a track record of sales and leadership excellence and are committed to building trusting relationships with restaurant owners.
This role
requires 5 days in office based out of our 185 Spadina Ave office location.
The impact you will have- Build and lead a world-class team of sales and business development representatives
- Become an expert in our product and the industry so that you can coach your team to advise restaurant owners in a high-trust manner
- Lead from the front by co-selling with your reps (we don9t hide behind Gong)
- Coach and develop your team based on their unique strengths
- Inspire your team to be great for themselves and for our customers
- Identify opportunities in the business and execute projects to improve our sales system
- Partner and collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams
- Level up consistently by reading, listening to podcasts, and learning from your teammates and peers
Minimum requirements - Direct first line management experience in the software industry (SMB preferred)
- Strong followership and references - your reps will sing your praises when asked
- History of personal and professional excellence
- Lifelong learner mindset and commitment to professional growth and development
- Consultative, customer-first sales approach
- You thrive while working in a fast-paced environment where change is common
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with restaurants (selling to or working in!) is a huge plus
Interview Process- Recruiter Screen - 30-minute phone call to align on your background, what you9re looking for, and answer any early questions
- Hiring Manager Screen - 30-minute video interview with the hiring manager to go deeper on your experience and how you work
- Technical Case Study - 1-hour video interview with a sales leader on the team covering your skills, approach, and how you9d show up in the role
- Final Round - 30-minute video conversation with a C-suite executive
Pay and benefits- The yearly total cash compensation for this role is $165,000 base + $65,000k variable ($230,000 OTE CAD) & uncapped commission, coupled with a generous equity pre-IPO equity package
