Summary: The Manager of Accounts Payable oversees and directs the daily operations of the accounts payable department to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds through various payment methods. This role is responsible for maintaining robust financial records, optimizing cash flows, and generating key financial metrics to drive process improvements. The position requires seamless collaboration with Supply Chain and Finance departments to safeguard internal controls and optimize cross-functional workflows. Exceptional relationship-building skills to partner effectively with clinical leaders, vendors and other strategic partners.
Responsibilities: * Perform supervisory functions for the accounts payable and vendor master department, including interviewing and recommending the hiring of new staff members; providing/arranging for training for staff; collaborates with leadership to assign departmental team annual SMART goals; evaluating staff performance; and recommending personnel actions to ensure a high-performing team model. Accountable for the goals, performance and results of the team. Provides timely guidance, coaching and feedback to team members. * Champion and lead strategic change initiatives within the department to optimize workflows and modernize financial processes. * Analyze future business change drivers to scale and adapt the department's operational needs for organizational growth. * Serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring operational readiness during large-scale enterprise transitions. * Leads all areas of the AP process, driving process change management across the department and across the end-to-end process, through collaboration and influencing cross functional groups. Ensure process improvement, best practices and opportunities for streamlining of workflows are considered. * Manage the AP day to day process, including purchase order (PO) matching, invoice processing, expense coding, payment issuance and account reconciliations.

* At least 5 years related experience required * At least 5 years experience managing and conducting the processing of Accounts Payable for a large organization required * At least 5 years Advanced proficiency in large enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle or Infor Cloudsuite required * At least 5 years proven experience implementing or managing automated invoice processing workflows, OCR tools or AI related technology required * At least 5 years strong knowledge of healthcare-specific tax guidelines, 1099 reporting and HIPAA regulations required
