Piedmont Oncology Malignant Hematologist Opportunity
Piedmont Oncology is seeking a skilled Malignant Hematologistto join our expanding oncology service line and lead our program for patients with hematologic malignancies and related disorders. This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional, patientcentered care while leading this effort in clinical excellence, program development, novel therapeutics and research, and collaboration across all Piedmont Healthcare.

This full-time position supports a rapidly growing cancer program at our flagship Atlanta location and across Piedmonts 27-hosptial system.

The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician and work well with other providers both locally and across Piedmont Oncology. The BE/BC candidate will require a Georgia medical license. He/she must have strong communication skills and genuine compassion for the patients and the patients family/support teams. The successful candidate will practice in an outpatient clinic setting and supervise an infusion center near the clinic. Piedmont Oncology will provide numerous opportunities to participate in and lead research and care pathway initiatives across the system.

The role includes opportunities to lead and develop clinical trials, support program growth, and collaborate with an integrated network of cancer specialists.

Practice Details

Clinical Environment
  • Join Piedmont Oncologys multidisciplinary hematology and oncology team, serving as the lead physician with dedicated expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and related disorders.
  • Work within a patient-centered expanding program committed to comprehensive cancer care.

Advanced Treatment Capabilities
  • Serve as the leader to develop advanced therapies including:
    • CART therapy and other cellular-base therapies
    • Novel clinical trialsin hematologic oncology

Program Growth & Clinical Trials Engagement
  • Play an integral role in shaping program expansion across Piedmont Healthcare.
  • Contribute to clinical and quality initiatives that elevate the care of patients with hematologic malignancies statewide.
  • Opportunities to participate in medical education and training activities within Piedmonts collaborative clinical environment.
  • Serve as Piedmont Oncologys malignant hematology leader and representative in national forums, including ASH, the cooperative groups, and interaction with pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.
