Full Job Description
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing Oncology team and help launch our new Oncology and Infusion Service Line. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of cancer care in rural Georgia while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families facing a cancer diagnosis.

Position Highlights

As an Oncology APP, you will:
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of cancer patients, as well as inpatient consults.
  • Conduct follow-up visits, treatment toxicity assessments, symptom management, and survivorship care.
  • Serve as a first-line clinical resource for infusion-related concerns and treatment support.
  • Participate in new patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations, diagnostic review, and care coordination.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and implement supportive care interventions.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, symptom management, and supportive services.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team focused on delivering outstanding outcomes and compassionate care.

Preferred:
  • Medical Oncology experience
  • Disease-site-specific oncology experience
  • Oncology certification (AOCNP, AOCN, or equivalent)
