Maintenance Supervisor - Cement

Qualifications

• 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role or equivalent training/education.
• Preferred experience in the cement industry.
• Familiarity with large rotating heavy machinery in industrial settings.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills essential for team management.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; availability for off-shift and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise maintenance work to align with production needs.
• Manage urgent repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Develop and motivate maintenance staff for optimal performance.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner for effective job scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and plant regulations during maintenance activities.
• Participate in plant projects, providing mechanical insights and support.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to evaluations of operational efficiency.
• Support grievance resolution in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
