Description:
The Maintenance Manager, will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the maintenance department in concerns with design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment and machinery in both of our production facilities Located in Auburn Hills & Pontiac, MI. The Ideal candidate will be able to manage and delegate project responsibilities to a small team of Maintenance technicians. As well as jump in and help the team when necessary.
Reports to: Plant Manager Direct Reports: Sr. Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities:
Overseeing a multi-shift department of Maintenance Technicians
Performing management and administrative tasks for the maintenance team
Keeping up to date with training for maintenance team
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department
Evaluates and coordinates systems and facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely matter
Ensures a safe work environment and adherence to company safety policies
Completes purchase orders to ensure appropriate spare parts and tools are available for the maintenance team to successfully complete their job
